Distributed Utility Integration TestIn 2001, we began working with
Distributed Utility Associates (www.dua1.com) to develop a comprehensive test program for the
DOE Distributed Power Program to evaluate and characterize the interaction of Distributed Generation technologies. The Distributed Utility Integration Test, or DUIT, will
provide answers to crucial questions being asked by utility engineers and equipment manufacturers related to the interaction of DG with each other and with the utility distribution system. Currently, DUIT is
establishing a test facility in San Ramon, CA with funding from the California Energy Commission and will begin its comprehensive test regimen. Endecon is responsible for defining the test procedures and for
designing and implementing the data acquisition system and analysis tools. We will also be performing many of the proposed tests. |
